Artist Uses AI to Horrifyingly Reimagine ‘Star Wars’ as a Cosmic Body Horror Nightmare

Today is Wednesday, May the Fourth of 2022, which means today is Star Wars Day all over your social media feeds. And nobody is celebrating quite like artist Rob Sheridan on Twitter.

Sheridan has put together a series of images that reimagine beloved Star Wars characters through the lens of a “cosmic body horror film”… and the results are nightmarish.

“Join me as we travel to an unholy nether realm far, far away for… STAR WARS EPISODE 666: A NEW FLESH,” Sheridan tweets, kicking off his Cronenbergian thread on Twitter.

Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Princess Leia, Chewbacca and even a handful of Droids get the “cosmic body horror” treatment, and Yoda becomes a Lovecraftian terror from the deep.
