Paramount Pictures has released the final trailer for the forthcoming live-action/CG-hybrid film adaptation of Clifford the Big Red Dog, starring Jack Whitehall, Darby Camp, and Tony Hale. The long-delayed film is scheduled to make its debut in theaters and on Paramount+ on Wednesday, November 10.
The Clifford the Big Red Dog final trailer, which you can check out below, continues to highlight the fun chaos that the titular dog will unleash. It also provides us a better look at the story as Tony Hale’s villainous character tries to capture him.
Clifford The Big Red Dog stars Darby Camp (Big Little Lies) as Emily, Jack Whitehall (Jungle Cruise) as Uncle Casey, John Cleese (Monty Python) as Mr. Bridwell, Sienna Guillory (Resident Evil) as Maggie, and Tony Hale (Veep) as Tieran. It will also feature Izaac Wang, Rosie Pere, Kenan Thompson, Paul Rodriguez, and Jessica Keenan Wynn.
“When middle-schooler Emily Elizabeth meets a magical animal rescuer who gifts her a little, red puppy, she never anticipated waking up to find a giant ten-foot hound in her small New York City apartment,” reads the synopsis. “While her single mom is away for business, Emily and her fun but impulsive uncle Casey set out on an adventure that will keep you on the edge-of-your-seat as our heroes take a bite out of the Big Apple. Based on the beloved Scholastic book character, Clifford will teach the world how to love big!”
Based on the children’s book series by Norman Bridwell, the film is directed by Walt Becker from a screenplay written by Jay Scherick & David Ronn, and Blaise Hemingway. It is also being produced by Jordan Kerner and Scholastic Entertainment’s Deborah Forte.
