Vertical Entertainment has released the official trailer for Rodrigo Garcia’s upcoming drama film Four Good Days, starring three-time Golden Globe winner Glenn Close (Fatal Attraction, The Wife) and Mila Kunis (Black Swan). The video provides us a glimpse into the estranged relationship between a mother and her drug-addicted daughter as they go through a difficult four-day process of getting sober in order for the daughter to get the medication she needs to recover. The film is scheduled to arrive in theaters on April 30 and on VOD on May 21. Check out the video in the player below along with the official poster!

This new trailer comes after three days since Close scored her eighth Oscar nomination for her performance in Ron Howard’s Hillbilly Elegy. Meanwhile, Kunis was most recently seen in Tate Taylor’s comedy-drama film Breaking News in Yuba County starring alongside Allison Janney and Awkwafina.

In an emotional journey based on a true story by Pulitzer Prize-winning Washington Post writer Eli Saslow, 31-year-old Molly begs her estranged mother Deb for help fighting a fierce battle against the demons that have derailed her life. Despite all she has learned over a decade of disappointment, grief and rage, Deb throws herself into one last attempt to save her beloved daughter from the deadly and merciless grip of heroin addiction. Powerhouse performances from Glenn Close and Mila Kunis anchor director Rodrigo García’s poignant and unpredictable chronicle of mother and daughter fighting to regain the love and trust that once held them together.

Four Good Days is led by Mila Kunis and Glenn Close. Joining them are Stephen Root (Get Out), Joshua Leonard (Bliss), Rebecca Field (A Star is Born), Michael Hyatt (Snowfall), Chad Lindberg (The Fast and the Furious), and Carla Gallo (A Futile and Stupid Gesture).
