Dark Tranquillity has cleared their schedules for 2023 to work on the follow-up to their 2020 record Moment.
The new record will be Dark Tranquillity‘s first since bassist Christian Jansson and drummer Joakim Strandberg-Nilsson joined the band in 2022. Jansson and Strandberg-Nilsson replaced both former drummer Anders Jivarp and bassist Anders Iwers, who left the group in 2021.
“We have [cleared] our schedules for 2023,” revealed the band. “All of our time will be allocated to creating our 13th album. Right now we are writing but it will be finished within the year. We welcome this period of creative anxiety, bottomless pots of coffee and endless nights. 2023 – Let’s go!”
