Rome, Italy based post-metal duo Cultro has unveiled the first single »Manifestation« taken from their upcoming album »Nerthus«.
Cultro is a post-metal duo with dark ambient/ritualistic influences based in Rome (Italy). Formed back in 2014, the band has published three EPs, »Cultro« in 2015, »Horizon« in 2019, and »Phlegethon« in 2021.
»Manifestation« is the first single from the new album called »Nerthus« based around a script by Publius Cornelius Tacitus from 98ad, documenting an obscure divinity and its manifestation to the world, its sacred festivals and the final ritual wash of the goddess icon in a secluded lake, in which every one involved would see his life ended as a seal on the cult’s secrets.
