Everyone knows that life as a touring musician is difficult. Still, if you’ve never experienced it first-hand, you may not be to truly fathom the hardships of time on the road.

Fortunately, Lamb of God guitarist Mark Morton has now shared his tips learning what it’s like to be in a touring band.

Writing on social media, Morton says:

If you ever wanna know what its like to be in a touring band…

1. Rent a nice RV
2. Pick up 6-10 of your buddies
3. Drive 400 miles, find a gravel parking lot & park
4. Order pizza
5. Play guitar for 1 hr
6. At 2 am, leave & drive another 400 miles
