Marvel’s ‘Alien’ Tease Already Looks Fantastic – iHorror

iHorror

Now that Marvel has some control over Alien, we are starting to see a bit of that new partnership playout. Dark Horse Comics was the go to Alien comics destination for a long time. Marvel is giving us a bit of a tease today as to what their Alien will bring to the table, and we are loving it.

The art by Salvador Lorroca look fantastic as well. In this series Gabriel Cruz of Weyland-Yutani escapes a run in with a Xenomorph. Cruz attempts to go back to a normal life to reconnect with his son, but in doing so he finds that fate has more for him to playout with when it comes to Xenomorphs. Word is that this iteration of Alien is bringing back a Bishop android as well.

The official synopsis goes like this:

“Gabriel Cruz gave his life to Weyland-Yutani–In the case of an alien attack he barely survived, almost literally! Recently retired, Cruz is trying to patch things up with his abandoned son with the help of his friend, a Bishop-model android, but his re-entry into civilian life is not going smoothly…and his encounters with the deadly Xenomorph are far from over. Phillip Kennedy Johnson and Salvador Larroca team up to tell an all-new tale of the titan of horror and science fiction that has scared audiences for decades. No one is safe. No one is innocent. And no one can hear you scream.”

The first issue of Alien is landing on March 24, but in the meantime you can checkout a tease below. It’s awesome to see that Marvel is giving the property over to a writer and illustrator that are obsessed with Alien and love the world that it inhabits.

You can head over to Comixology to pre-order your copy right now.
