METALLICA To Debut 72 Seasons In Theaters This April

Metallica will stream their upcoming record 72 Seasons one day early, April 13, in theaters worldwide. So grab some popcorn and don’t get too rowdy, because this is a movie theater, dammit.

“72 Seasons – Global Premiere will feature exclusive interviews with Metallica, with the full band delving into the origins and stories behind the songs and accompanying music videos for every track on the album,” said Metallica of the event. “The result will be a one-night-only opportunity for fans to experience 72 Seasons first and fully.

“There will also be a few surprises on the night that you won’t want to miss! We look forward to welcoming you all to this historic night in cinemas around the world.”

Tickets go on sale March 2 here. 72 Seasons is 12 tracks and 77-minutes (so no more double albums from Metallica at the moment), and is available for pre-order here.
