Metallica and watch company Nixon first teamed up for a special watch range back in 2018.
They’ve been a huge hit with fans since then, with the eye-catching designs based around the group’s album covers, the band’s famous logo and more.
And right now, the prices of six of the timepieces in the range have been slashed by 22%, making this a great time to dive in and pick out your favourite.
The …And Justice For All and the Seek & Destroy watches have both been reduced from $250 to $195, while the Hardwired, Pushead, All Black, and Kill ‘Em All Time Teller designs are down to $97.50 from their RRP of $125.
The offers on the Metallica range along with a massive 22% off sale across the whole website runs from now through August 16 in both the US and UK – although at the time of writing, the Metallica watches are sold out in the UK. But keep your eyes open in case they come back in stock.
Meanwhile, Metallica are currently preparing to play their first live show of 2020.
James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo will take part in the Encore Drive-In Nights series, playing a full set near their California HQ, with the performance then screened at drive-ins and outdoor theatres across North America for one night only on August 29.
Metallica will also release their S&M2 album on August 28 – a live package celebrating their two landmark performances in San Francisco last year.
Metallica x Nixon: Pushead design: Was
$125, now $97.50
This design features the artwork of Brian Schroeder (a.k.a. Pushead), who has worked with Metallica on numerous occasions, including the album cover for St. Anger, album illustrations and t-shirt designs – with this particular design taken from the Damage Inc. single artwork.
Metallica’s two landmark shows with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra from September 2019 are documented on this new live release. The concerts were lined up to mark 20 years since the original S&M album.View Deal
