Metal Sucks
Earlier this month, former members of the extremely influential Florida death metal band Death took the stage at Hawthorne Thetre in Portland, Oregon to celebrate the life and tunes of the late Chuck Schuldiner. With a setlist consisting of classic tracks like “The Philosopher,” “Leprosy,” and “Crystal Mountain,” those in attendance on March 4 got the chance to hear some of the best death metal music ever written in a live setting.
Along with Death To All, supporting acts Nukem and Suffocation also tore shit up that evening. Thankfully, we had photographer Alison Webster on hand to capture all of this on camera. As you can see in the galleries below, it goes without saying that it was a wild show.
