Psychological horror is always a welcome treat. And as luck would have it, publisher StickyLock Studios and developer Alterego Games have announced their upcoming psychological horror game, Sanity of Morris, will launch for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam on March 23.
Sanity of Morris centres on Johnathan Morris, who after years of little contact with his father, arrives in the isolated town of Greenlake to check up on him. Unfortunately for Johnathan, there are things creeping around Greenlake that aren’t too keen on wanting him there.
Combining elements of stealth games with detective-adventure and psychological horror, players will have to make do with nothing more than a flashlight and a notebook as they struggle to maintain their sanity while searching for Johnathan’s father. You can use your flashlight to reveal hidden messages left by your father, footprints, and hints as to where to proceed next.
Of course, using your flashlight brings the risk of attracting whatever it is lurking in the shadows, so be smart about it.
