Upon A Burning Body are bummed to announce that they will not be able to finish out their tour with Unearth and 156/Silence due to illness in the band.
The Texas-based metalcore group had to cancel their Thursday night show this past week in Columbus, OH and their Friday night show in Rochetster, NY. They did, however, promise fans that they would try and make it up to them and encouraged folks to still go out to the show.
Unfortunately, these are also the last two shows on the three bands’ midwestern tour, meaning the run will finish out without them.
The band announced on Facebook:
“We are sorry to inform anyone in Columbus, OH and Rochester, NY that we will not be performing on these dates. The majority of our members and crew are under the weather. We wouldn’t feel right putting others at risk.”
“We will definitely make it up soon. We truly thank everyone for your continuous support and definitely go see 156/silence and Unearth! We can’t thank you enough.”
Unfortunate timing, but we applaud the band on having the good sense not to play while sick.
