I didn’t think I would be saying this… but, I have to say it. I missed zombie mode, you guys. It slowly dawned on me while watching the latest trailer for the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War that I indeed missed it.
If you recall, Call of Duty has churned out zombie mode in almost each and every title since the release of World at War. It wasn’t until the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare that they decided to finally take a break from the undead. Well, the move paid off because the absence of those pesky zombies made my heart grow fonder and I was absolutely tired of that mode.
The latest Zombies story titled Die Machine sees your group of four go up against the endless hordes of zombies as you uncover elements of the twisting narrative.
Much like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare included all game modes under one battle pass flag. Cold War Black Ops will add zombie mode to the battle pass alongside its other multiplayer modes.
I think that the addition of “exfil” is going to be a nice game changer. This allows you and your team to hightail it off the battlefield via helicopter if things get to hairy.
Get ready to engage with the undead when Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War hits stores on November 13 on Xbox One Series X, Xbox One, Playstation 4, Playstation 5, and Microsoft Windows.
